How often should I train?

Frequently Asked Questions

This is a question that doesn't necessarily have an easy answer. However, if you can train 3 times a week then that's better than 2. If you can train 4 that's generally better than 3. It will also depend on your personal life. These are things we can cover within the initial consultation 

How much do I need to eat to lose weight?

Similarly with the Macros it is relatively easy to work this out and again it's going to come down to the individual as to how much and what sort of percentage splits the macros are going to get in order to get the most out of what you want to achieve.

Mental health?

Resistance training has been shown to decrease depression and anxiety more than support from your loved ones when times are hard. Now this isn't to say it's easy to go to the gym, but it should definitely be something that is aimed for. We can work on how to achieve this together.  

How much sleep should I be getting?

Now we all know the general recommended amount is 8 hours. However, this is going to depend on how old you are and also your current lifestyle. As for me at the moment I get between 4-6 hours (now this isn't optimal but, I've got a newborn). However, because I am eating well and training it isn't affecting as much as if I weren't doing those things. 

Macro Calculation?

Macro calculations are generally pretty easy to do and there are plenty of online calculators. However, when it comes down to the nuance of  individual goals this is where they get a little more complex and the assistance of someone can really help dial things in.

How to lose fat?

The simple answer is eat less Calories than you are burning and eat less fat than you are burning. But this will be worked out based on the calorie amount and the daily fat intake. From there we can work out what you can do appropriately that'll fit in with your lifestyle to promote fat loss.
